Ledg ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Financial Data

• Transaction amounts, descriptions, and dates
• Budget allocations and categories
• Income and expense records
• Recurring transaction rules

How It's Stored: All financial data is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage. No financial data is transmitted to our servers or third-party services.

1.2 Device Information

• Device model and operating system version
• App version
• Crash logs (if enabled in iOS settings)

How It's Stored: Device information is used for app stability and compatibility purposes only and is not linked to your personal identity.

1.3 Optional iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your encrypted financial data may be stored in your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data remains end-to-end encrypted and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

2. What We DO NOT Collect

Ledg explicitly does not collect:

• Bank account credentials or bank authentication tokens
• Personally identifiable information (name, address, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device advertising ID
• Analytics data (no third-party analytics services)
• Behavioral tracking
• Payment method information (beyond App Store purchase history)

3. How We Use Your Information

Your financial data is used solely to:

• Display transactions and budgets in the App
• Calculate spending summaries and category breakdowns
• Enable recurring transaction automation
• Provide backup/restore functionality
• Optionally sync across your devices via iCloud (if enabled)

4. Data Security

Your financial data is protected by:

• iOS Data Protection: All data is encrypted when your device is locked using Apple's hardware-backed encryption
• App-level Encryption: Sensitive operations use secure coding practices
• No Network Transmission: Financial data is never sent over the internet unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your financial data at any time via the App or by uninstalling it.

6. Third-Party Services

Ledg uses only Apple services: StoreKit 2 (purchases), CloudKit (optional iCloud sync), and LocalAuthentication (Face ID).
